4 Things we need to see from the TMNT in Injustice 2

This month we will be visited by another set of guest characters in Injustice 2. This time in the form of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and with a good history of comics and TV shows to dig into, there's plenty of ways to please the fans of the half-shell heroes. Let's get into a few.
4. Brotherly Banter
We already saw a little of this in the teaser trailer with Mikey's playfulness coming out, but maybe in the game we can see some of that classic Leo and Raph tension. Donatello could have some scientific conversations with The Atom and Brainiac and Mikey might drop a movie reference here and there.

3. Gear
There's no doubt the turtles will have some interesting gear but after the ridiculous treatment Hellboy's gear got, we can't expect gear to make reference to any TMNT lore. In case they decide to be nice though, I can think of a few good sets. Classic cartoon belts, IDW comic bandannas and if they really want to dig deep and go crazy, Raphael's Shredder armor from the Image Comics run. If they wanted to go another level above that, gear that changes the turtles appearance into different incarnations of the TMNT would be amazing. 1990 movie turtles or the original comic turtles anyone?

2. Characters
The one thing guest fighters do seem to do well is referencing other characters from their respective universes. It would be a big miss if the TMNT didn't name drop April, Casey, Splinter and Shredder. Hopefully they can squeeze in a Bebop and Rocksteady shout out too.
1. TMNT Team Up
I guess there's a few things they could pull out for the super move but I'm going to be a little disappointed if it isn't a massive team attack with each turtle getting a huge combo in. I wouldn't be against a Battle Shell appearance also though.

So those are some of the essentials when it comes to throwing the turtles into the Injustice world. Hopefully we'll see most of these in game and maybe some more surprises. What do you want to see from the TMNT in Injustice 2?
